Alongside a small team of dedicated journalists and experts in public procurement, we’ve set out to monitor procurement procedures and infrastructure projects carried out by local and central authorities. As part of the European project entitled “LECA – Developing a Multidisciplinary approach in the Fight against Public Procurement Criminality” carried out by Freedom House Romania, this editorial endeavour aims to monitor public procurement in real-time, to analyse investment opportunities and the manner in which authorities are spending public money. This section of the justitiecurata.ro website will contain articles that will also reflect the general objectives of the Clean Justice Initiative concerning the fight against corruption, integrity in the public life, support for the rule of law and for democracy.

The news items created during the “LECA – Developing a Multidisciplinary approach in the Fight against Public Procurement Criminality” project reflect the opinions of the authors and of the justitiecurata.ro editorial team.
